Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. This policy explains which cookies AITHEOR uses on aitheor.com and in the AITHEOR application, and why. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What we use
We use only strictly-necessary cookies, the minimum required to run the service securely:
- •A secure session cookie, set after you sign in, that keeps you authenticated.
- •A preference cookie that remembers your light or dark theme.
What we do NOT use
We do not use advertising cookies, analytics or measurement cookies, social-media pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind. The public marketing pages set no cookies at all until you sign in, and we load no third-party trackers.
Consent
Because the only cookies we use are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive) do not require a consent banner for them. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in, as it is essential to keep you authenticated.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| __Secure-better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in after authentication. | Strictly necessary | Session / until sign-out |
